Breaking the Bank

Weddings are so often thought of as expensive, extravagant, over the top and luxurious. Very often these words also mean breaking the bank in terms of your budget. When it comes to your wedding, you should know when it is enough.

Stunning decor and beautiful flowers are not necessarily expensive. You can achieve that awe inspiring look without going over your budget. At Classy Collections we have worked with so many varieties in terms of brides and budgets and it is important for all brides to know that you can achieve beauty without going into debt.

All you need is control. Control over your planning, control over your ideas and most importantly stick to your BUDGET!

This is sometimes easier said than done, as brides a re normally emotional and sales people takes advantage over them. If there is one thing not to be missed in your Budget, it should be a coordinator. Whether you need them for the entire wedding or just the touch ups, or even just the vendor supplies make sure to have someone on speed dial who is non emotional and can get a good deal.

We suggest making use of a few planning templates to help you through the process if you are going for a DIY wedding.

Make it clear, who sits where...

One of the things that brides so often forget or overlook is the seating plan. This is really a delicate decision as you do not want to upset the applecart on your special day.  Bring the family together and pair up the singles, keep the kids close to kiddies activities and place the friends close to one another.

It is important to remember small things like not placing the 'older crowd' close to the dance floor as you do not want the stereo blasting in their ears. Keep the friends and the younger ones close to the bar as this will be where they spend most of the night.

Keep your family close as this day is as special to them as it is to you especially to mom and dad. Don't stress about it too much,  but also don't underestimate the power of the seating plan as it can change the entire atmosphere.

Therefore make it clear who sits where...
